Fall Fest

Another successful Fall Fest! I have never work with more loyal and hardworking people! My mom got a picture of the kids, and then my bestie Melissa and I were a cuter version of Batman and Robyn. I was not allowed to be Batman because my Worship Pastor told me I was short. 

Something Bad....

My morning started with laundry and chapstick in the dryer, cleaning my house, dog walking, getting kiddos ready for school and going to work for a couple of hours. I then left work to go to Lilly’s school for Owen’s award ceremony and choir concert...... As nice as it was for me to go to Lilly’s school, it was not Owen’s school...I also had another little mishap this week. I thought Lilly’s band concert was Tuesday, it was Thursday at the same exact time as my worship rehearsal... I’m not winning mom of the year... However, I did make it to every place I was supposed to be, frizzy hair and all. Everyone has been fed and still alive, and we all have clean clothes with pink chapstick on them! 

I ate one taco from Taco Bell today after my week. I had a long week. Really, it was long. I don’t eat that ever..ever..

BB Practice

I can’t wait until basketball season this year, Owen is on fire! He has a hard time with layups and workes on them for hours. 

After Church Picnic

I woke up this morning and was not scheduled anywhere, no leading worship, no emceeing, no assisting. I was torn between rejoicing and crying. I love serving in ministry it's my calling, love and joy. I will never ever begin to explain how near God is when I sing to Him. I love and hunger for His presence. However, it was beautiful to take one car to church with my sweet little family. We walked in together, sat together and worshiped as a family. My heart was overwhelmed with love for my people. After church we went on a picnic and walked through Garden of the Gods. We are taking advantage of this beautiful fall weather. 

Pumpkin Carving

We had a great fall night. We carved pumpkins. Gary just can't help himself, the power tools came out. We watched Star Wars Episode 1, my family is trying very hard to get me up to speed before the new one comes out in December. Loving our BER month traditions! 

More BER Month Traditions

We visited the Happy Apple Farm and then we went to Salida for a walk next to the river. It was a beautiful day. I love my people so much. 

Best Pizza

We had our last "Pizza in the Park" picnic today. I'm sure we won't be doing this until summer. Amica's never disappoints! 

Puppy Adventures

Mac had his first visit to the Pumpkin Patch and then ice cream in Salida. He broke some rules... But he had fun. 

Last Minute

The kids spent the day recording at church and we missed them. After picking them up we went for a quick last minute walk at Red Rock Canyon Open Space. It was a beautiful fall evening. We went to Rudys for dinner and sat outside. It's hard to believe that snow is on the forecast for Monday. 

Kidless Moments

I love hanging out with the hubs! It reminds me how much I adore him. People who don't date their spouses are missing out! The kids were doing my some recording at church and we took the opportunity to grab coffee and do some house hunting!

October

Continuing with our BER moth traditions. We visited Muler State Park and Cripple Creek. I do believe October may just be my favorite color!

Owen is a little baller. It is insane, I cant wait for his school season.
