I highlighted and cut my own hair tonight. I did not want to sit in the beauty chair for four hours! I have issues sitting still that long! That and the $150.00 it take to get pretty. So I bravely did it my self! Not so bad all those years of sitting in that chair was great training!

How is it that we live in a society that we are worried about sharing the most amazing truth. How can we as Christians truly be called sons and daughters of Christ when are worried about offending a person with our faith. I will tell you that I have been transformed. And I love people so much that I want everyone to go to heaven. I am not ashamed of the Gospel and I will shout to the LORD with all I am and how I live. I want every person on the glorious earth to feel the freedom of Christ our Savior. How can I as a Christian, wife, mother, daughter and friend be a bible believer and passionate follower of Christ if I am not wiling to share my faith with someone who may or may not be offended. The question of the day, is if you believe why on earth would you ever be ashamed to share with someone who may not know the freedom of salvation?

Surprise Ice Cream

Gary and I had a llllllllllllllooooooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnnnggggggggg day today so after dinner I told Gary I and Lilly had an errand to run. We ran to DQ and got everyone ice cream! Made the whole day better!

A Day With Faith and Luke

Every time I looked at Lilly and Faith they had a new outfit on. They are little diva princesses and Owen and Luke were perfect little angles!

Our Little Mountian

We had the chance to head to our little mountain today! Man I love tromping around up there. It was really cold and rainy but we had fun anyway! The kids played in the water and Owen was soaking wet! We did a little hiking had a picnic and read from the Bible. I have said it before but it is so powerful to read the God's word in the wonderful world He created! Man I love my crazy little life! And those crazy people in it aren't so bad either!

Balloon Glow No! Better!!

Every Labor day weekend here in the Springs we have a Hot Air balloon Classic. We really enjoy taking the kids to the glow. Gary and I always joke that we only get to see the glow every other year because of the famous Labor Day weekend weather! HA HA!!! Good old Colorado weather did not disappoint the glow was rained out. We however had a great time with the famous Haynes puppet show in the car waiting for the rain to stop! We saw a beautiful rainbow in the sky so we thought cool lets go! We walked around all the vendors ate some greasy fair food and had the best thing God ever invented! Cotton candy! We ran into Pastor Jamie and Jennifer Doyle and chatted at bit about the great Christian Band they had playing. After a final announcement of the cancellation of the glow we got a call from Lane and we spent the rest of the evening at the Perkins house! No balloons but cotton candy and best friends are even better!
