My View

Sometimes I run faster to the top of the hill, knowing my reward is this view. God had painted with colors that only He can create. I hope I never lose the wonder of everything He has made.  

Last Band Concert

Lilly had her last band concert. This one was at the high school in our district zone. I was seriously impressed. Lilly has done a great job.

Mothers Day

We celebrated Mothers Day at church. I'm so thankful that God made me a mom. There for a while I was not sure if that would happen or even if I wanted that to happen. God has perfect timing and our lives are pretty amazing.

Salida

We love little day trips. We drove to Salida Colorado to relax for the day. I love our sweet conversations we have in the car and how we laugh and make memories. I pray our kids realize how much we love and adore them.         

Summer Prequel

I adore my Fridays off with Lilly and Owen. I'm really looking forward to making new memories this summer. The kids just happened to have a Friday off so we hiking around Garden of the Gods . It's was beautiful.     

Pure Worship

Pure worship is one of the most glorious sounds. That sweet sound that only a hearts connected to God will recognize. Sometimes, Thursdays are my long day at the church. I typically go in much later but will often be at the church until 8pm or so. Yesterday was a different day in the sense I did not have to rehearse but I forgot to do something so I ended up staying much later than I intended. Thankfully my husband and kids are amazing without me and do their own thing which is sweet and lovely in itself. Working alone in a massive building sometimes you hear strange noise, conversation and lots of song. Working away in my little office I hear the singing of a good friend of mine. Not a rehearsal or a corporate worship service, no lights, camera  just sweet worship that only could be for God. So as I sat still and quietly in my little office listening, pretending not be heard or seen the tears just flowed from my eyes. I love and live for those moments of pure worship where God reveals himself and cleanses us.  Several months ago I had a vision and the wonderful person who was singing was in my vision. So many of us have waited and longed for the Glory of God to fall on us at Radiant Church. And what I heard from God the day I had the vision was that His glory will fall and that we get to be apart of it, especially this person who is so valuable to our staff. Im thankful for worship, that God allows us to praise Him and sing to Him. It’s a gift I will never take for granted and Im thankful to know, love and do life with passionate real people who will lift their voices with the breath in their lungs that only God can give. All glory to our God, so thankful. 

 

Lilly Spring Concert

Lilly had her spring band concert tonight. I'm amazed at how well these kids play. We sat on the side where we could see Lilly. However her stand was covering her face and then she is little so when they were standing all the giant kids covered her up. Lol! I did tell her being short has a lot of benefits. She can wear heels anytime!  

   

Ahhh My Mountain

I was so blessed today to work a little from my favorite little mountain cafe. Such sweet atmosphere. Have I written that I love my job? Best job in the world, I'm beyond blessed.   

Little Man Feet

It's not often these days that Owen cuddles. Since there is Star Wars non stop on TV and we are tired from serving all day, I'll take these moments and document them for my momma's heart.  

Break Free

Well today is Saturday and I am working this entire weekend. It’s Break Free Encounter weekend. A powerful time of worship and prayer and seeing people break free from addictions, hangups and strongholds. It never ceases to amaze me the things people walk in with and then after they let it all go at the feet of Jesus how they walk in freedom. I can remember having to work weekends at Ent and how I would dread every second of it. I would not sleep and become anxious and watch the clock all day long. I don’t know how to explain what I do here at Radiant but it’s a calling and not a job. The hours can be long the work can be tough but it somehow feels so easy. The people I work with are truly the best group of people I have ever known. When God places a calling on your life and we are cut from the same fabric God works all these things together for His good. I love seeing these people succeed, I love watching them pastor, worship and serve others. I love how we look after one another families and make sure everyone is good. Im so thankful today for this opportunity to serve God’s people, his church. My vary favorite part of this weekend was that I served with my husband and kids. Friday night Lilly and Owen helped me set up food for over 100 people. They never complain and are willing to get in there and do the work God is asking. Gary served doing security this weekend and it’s just amazing how God will place us all together. Im thankful for my family and my church family and what were are willing to sacrifice to see people walk in freedom. Weekends sometimes look different for us, because our lives are not about our wants, desires or what the world thinks we should be doing. Sometimes our weekends are full of work for the Kingdom of God and serving as a family and as a church family, nothing can be better.

Date With My Lilly

Lilly and I had a date night. We went to see STOMP with her band class. It was great! As I was with her and her classmates I was reminded how thankful I am for Lilly. She is kind, and positive, modest and best of all she loves Jesus and it showes in her attitude. These days are flying by so quickly. I love these little moments!

Lilly is funny, super sassy and a hot mess. What on earth is on her lips! 

Saturday

Saturday mornings are my favorite time of the week. This Spring day there is snow falling, bacon cooking, coffee brewing and kids sleeping. It's romantic and cozy, perfect to read a book and hear the still. My life is a dream and my my God is the destiny. I'm believing for miracles and more of His presence.  

Weight Loss Wednesday

Well I'm down 4 pounds since last week! Only 46 more pounds to go before I have fully lost 100!  

So Thankful

 Tonight was such a beautiful night of reflection. Gary and I were talking about how happy we are. We have two amazing, lovable God fearing kids, beautiful family and truly beautiful friends that we do life with. Our Pastors have taught us to hunger for holiness and seek God's kingdoms verses anything of this world. We have a light that God has shown us that shines so brightly it blinds the darkness. We both have amazing work places, of course I could gush for days over the family I work with. Seriously my friends that I work with I adore and would do anything for. These people have brought me such joy. I LOVE and respect them as I love my family. We are blessed by our Lord Who reigns above all. I have said before that sometimes I feel like I live in a fairytale, what I live in, is heaven on earth. I'm faithfully in love with my precious King who is guiding and leading step by step! So thankful this sweet night!
