Here is some pictures of Lilly at gymnastics. She had learned so much we are really proud of her. She has no fear. Her favorite is the uneven bars and the balance beam. I have a hard time getting good pictures because I don't want to interrupt class. Also I have to learn to be smarter than the camera because I have a hard time with the settings and the light! In one of the pictures you can see Lilly and her friend Ashley looking at Lilly's nails! That my girl! And also our happy little man Owen he is so Sweet and lovable!Hope you all are having a fun season.

Well its snowing again! It gets me in the Christmas sprit! Gary and I went to dinner with our best friends Sarah and Lance last night and we had a blast! I am sure it had nothing to do with the martinis. We talked and laughed and then we did some Christmas shopping. We realized that the four of us had not been together alone since Maddy was born over four years ago! Its funny how the babies change things.

Anyway like I said its snowing again. We are beginning to think the Northern Idaho weather has found us! We took the kids and puppies to the park today to let them get some energy out. Lilly is going to be a snow bunny and poor Owen had a hard time getting around in all his gear! All in all we are well and enjoying the season. Next week is our baking week, and next weekend is our annual trip to the North Pole. Hopefully it is not freezing!

The weather stopped long enough for Gary to take Owen for his first ride in the Mazda! We are so thankful for Colorado weather. It snows one day and is nice enough the next to ride around with the top down!

Today Lilly, Owen and I went shopping for daddy for Christmas. It is so much fun to see what the kids come up with. We also did our Toys for Tots shopping. Its very important for Gary and I to teach Lilly and Owen how fortunate our family is. We want the babies to be grateful and thankful being able to give not just receive.



This year we have done a special Christmas project every day. Today we are making our ginger bread house. Every night we watch a special Christmas movie and before bed we have a piece of candy from the Advent Calender, and read out of the True Christmas book. We really want this time of year to be magical for our babies. We want them to feel Christs love and all he has given us. W want to start magical traditions that our family will cherish forever!

Hello Everyone,

We are in full Christmas mode here at the Haynes house. This is the first year Lilly has figured out that she can ask Santa for something. She wants a My Little Pony play set and scotch tape! She is so funny! Owen, according to Lilly wants a Crayola thing! We shall see what Santa brings. During the rush of the season we try very hard to instill the meaning of Christmas in all we do. The birth of Christ is the center of our holiday. Lilly and Owen both know that Christmas is Jesus birthday and that Jesus loves us so much he gives us Santa to bring us joy.

This year will be extra special, Teddy is home from Iraq. Last year was hard knowing he was away but harder knowing he was more than likely unsafe. We continue to remember and pray for our troops and the families of deployed solders. Our freedoms and customs that we so enjoy are protected daily by these brave men and women. Please remember our troops and their families, this special time of year!

Gary and I have wanted a blog for a long time so here it is! I just put a hodge poge of pictures on for now and I promise to update weekly from now on! We hope you all enjoy!
