Loving This Time of Year

This has been an amazing Christmas season. Lilly and Owen can hardly contain the butterflies with all the different activities, events and movies. We have had a crazy month running from here to there and back again but have enjoyed all our time as a family. This next week will bring more fun. Gary and I both have some time off and plan on taking the kids to the North Pole, baking cookies, wrapping presents, tons of Christmas movies and church caroling. We are also excited about sharing the Candle Light service together and seeing the kids take communion for the first time on Christmas Eve. As a mother I could not be more excited watching my babies with twinkles in their eyes, I had a proud mom moment in Wal-Mart no less when I asked Lilly to occupy Owen who was ready to leave. I asked her to tell him a story. She started by saying Christmas is Jesus birthday and he loved us so much he lets us all have presents on His day! And then she asked him where Jesus was and Owen in his obnoxious way lifted his shirt and pointed to his little chest. And Lilly in her obnoxious loud little Lilly mommy voice said good job buggy Jesus is in your heart! And indeed He is.

Lights at the Zoo

The weather could not have been more perfect tonight for the zoo. We had a great time with my folks and had a really nice dinner afterwards. The lights are so pretty and my pictures don't do them justice. I pray everyone is having a fantastic busy Christmas season. This is the best time of year. We really miss all out out of town family and hope everyone is having a fun!

Christmas Pictures 2009

Gary and I took the kids to get some pictures done today and to see Santa. Both Lilly and Owen did a really good job. When we saw Santa he asked Lilly what she would like for Christmas and she told him a pony and when it was Owen's turn he looked at Santa and said I want a Car. Lilly did tell Santa that we look at him on NORAD every night! Mr.Clause got a kick out of that. This particular Santa is retired Air Force!

Fantastic Night

Gary the kids and I had a great night. We started out at mom and dads to celebrate her 29th birthday and then we were off to a Christmas Party for the Radiant Security team. I am so convinced that God placed us in the the most amazing church. We had such fantastic time with people who work hard and live for the Lord. It was a really good night and best of all I got to share it with the people that mean the most to me! My Pook Lilly and Owen!

Just Us at Christmas

Well earlier I had reported my camera was not working, the camera and I have worked out our differences and we are friends again! These are just some silly pictures I took of the kids and our crazy mad mess of a Christmas Tree! I love to see the kids pray at dinner so I was trying to sneak some pictures but I got caught. And our tree is sweet and one day I am going to miss the tree with all the ornaments at knee level. We are have a really good time with all our Christmas adventures. Today we wrapped all our presents and I am putting all of our out of town packages in the mail tomorrow. We have our first of five parties this weekend and are getting excited for our annual visit to the North Pole!

Picnic in December

Here we are December 1st and what did we do today? Well we had a picnic at the park of course. The weather was amazing today so we spent the day at the park. I can't believe that tomorrow it may $^@*, that would be a very bad word! The weather man said we are going to experience a dramatic drop in the temp so the kids and I took advantage of getting out while we can! Nothing like Colorado weather to keep your sinuses and skin dry but hey where else in the Rocky Mountain air can you get a good tan in December!

Spring Break

I’m morning Spring Break... We had such a great time from movies to Denver and Salida. Thankful summer is right around the bend.
