Stick a Fork In Me!

Seriously today was the longest day in the history of days! It started off normal took Lilly to school had my morning personality in a cup and breakfast with Gary and Owen before heading to work. Work was even normal I had lots of my regular members and did some fun end of year IRA stuff, I even had to do real math. I took an early lunch to go to Lilly's school for a reading test they were doing. All normal until her little cap came off her tooth. Made for a quick trip to the dentist....One would think but remember this is me we are talking about. Lets just say I never made it back to work and wrote a check for around 150.00. I am so tired I can't even explain the whole story. It involves a bus and a field trip.. After getting my Lilly home feeding everyone, getting pjs clothing for tomorrow and baths done I had to head off to church to run rehearsal for the Christmas Play. All while poor Gary tried to get some sleep before heading to work early because they are slammed for their end of year audit. And I think he is getting sick. I did get him some cold medicine and gator aid that seems to cure him...more on his cold later....
Anyway I made it to church and took a deep breath, and realized I did not have much of a plan for the kids tonight. So I did my favorite thing and took my planner in the Worship Center to listen to my friends sing. I prayed and literally had the most productive rehearsal yet! I think we will get a little show out of these kids yet!
Anyway I know I totally rambled but believe it or not this writing on my blog thing actually helps me sleep! Any who it's time to stick a fork in me because I am done! Blessings all!!

This Kids Feet

Owens feet grew Sunday! I am not kidding at all! We went to the movies and did some shopping Sunday and this morning he could not get his shoes on! I literally had to make him wear flip flops!
Thankfully my parents and Owen ran some errands and they got him two new pairs of size one shoes! Lilly is two years older and is in an 11!
I think Owens feet need to stop growing so the rest of him can catch up!

Our Weekend

We had a really good weekend. We came up with some new chores for the kids and a Thankful Calendar. Gary and I both enjoyed our coffee and we went to see Reck It Ralph in 3D. It was really cute!
We are now home just enjoying our extra hour to our weekend but we did not forget our weekly lunch munchie run along with Gary and the kids roller coaster ride!

Our Fasting is Over

Our fast is over and I am so blessed and thankful that Gary and I did it together! We are so full of The Lord and His faithful ness. Gary said something that was repeated in church last night and I have clung to these words.
No matter what our culture, family, friends, political leaders and society may feel is right. We have The Truth living inside us. We will stand with life and with truth.
I will stand before The Lord on my day of judgement and I will be able to say that I did not compromise Life Lord, I did not compromise life.
No matter if the people of this country are deceived and vote for the health care plain that will allow for abortions we know in our heart we will stand for Life.

If anyone feel that this picture below is not a child living breathing person than you are deceived.

Psalm 139:13-16 ESV

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well. My frame was not hidden from you, when I was being made in secret, intricately woven in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed substance; in your book were written, every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them.

I adore them both!

And oh how so different they are.

My husband and Owen

The boys got up super early today. They surprised Lilly and I with our favorite thing! No more fasting!!! I live my guys!

The Sick

Ever feel a little run down and tired? I am there! I actually have felt really good with our fast and surprising I have done well without my several cups of coffee. But today I woke up with a stiff neck and a cough. It has progressively gotten worse throughout the day. This is my busy time of year and I don't get much down time, and wont have a day off until December 26th. With wife and mom duties end of year auditing and IRA season, singing on the worship team, directing the musical, volunteering in Lilly's class and well all the fun little things life(Owen) brings there is just no time for me. I do this to myself and I would not change anything but I think I just need a day to sit still....maybe finish a book and just relax. Dreaming!
I am super nervous about the kids musical. I tell you I have a renewed respect for teachers. I just don't know how they deal with parents. My inbox is just overwhelmed with questions about their kids. It's frustrating and just overwhelming. I want everyone to be happy and pleased but expect people to use some judgement and patients. I just want to send one big email to the parents and say for gosh sakes people there is only One in the audience and all the kids are stars!
Any who that is my vent for the night. I need to sleep off this cold thing!

Little Bear

Oh how I adore my Allie! Miss you little bear!

Praying for our Nation November 1, 2012

Thursday, Nov. 1
Pray for elections at the city and county level:
• Pray for the election of men and women in city, county and school board races who are honest, competent and espouse godly values.
• Pray that voters will become sufficiently informed to make intelligent decisions, and that Christian voters will also have discernment about the candidates and causes for which they are voting.

My Lilly Bo Peep and Owenbumblebee

We went to the Weird Wild and Whacky show at church. It was really good this year. I especially loved the rendition of God Is Bigger Than The Boogie Man! We had a wonderful evening of prayer with the kids! Oh and some candy!

Everyday

Every morning before my kids and I leave our home we pray. We pray continuously for safety of their hearts. We pray that they are not exposed to unbiblical thinking. We pray for the kids, teachers and staff at Lilly's school. We continuously ask The Lord to bless the teachers and have them teach with conviction not from a schoolbook but from a heart filled with Christ. We pray everyday for the kids who are bullies and their families. Some people say breakfast is the most important part of a child's morning. Not us we believe so strongly in the power of prayer. I would never send my kids out in the world without the armor of God.
Pray tonight for kids and their schools. Pray that our children are lights in the darkness for others. Pray for the teachers and staff at our schools. Pray for the children who have less than perfect lives at home. Get on your knees and pray for a hedge of protection for our children.

Praying for our Nation

Monday, Oct. 29
Pray for the schools in our city and around the nation:
• Repent on behalf of our nation for pushing God out of our schools and opening the floodgates to all kinds of iniquity and other evil consequences for our children and our society at large.
• Pray that God would protect our students from the attacks of the enemy working in and through the school systems, including anti-biblical teaching, ungodly sex education, bullying and other violence.
• Pray that our government leaders – elected and appointed – would recognize the consequences of removing God from our schools and begin to re-institute godly principles and practices.
• Pray for godly educators – teachers and administrators – that they will be able to stand in the gap for our children and stem the tide of iniquity and violence in our schools.
• Pray for the election of government leaders – at the local, state and federal level – who will work to reverse the effects of taking God out of our schools.
• Pray for the appointment or election of judges who will begin to turn back the tide of godlessness in our schools.
Pray today for the elections to the U.S. Senate and the House of Representatives.
• Pray that the balance of power will be re-aligned in both houses so that men and women who espouse godly principles will be in a position to enact legislation that moves America back toward its founding principles, to block new legislation that would continue the national move away from God, and to repeal or amend past legislation that violated the moral principles outlined in our Constitution and in the Bible.
• Pray that the elections in the U.S. Senate will lessen the likelihood of judges being appointed -- or confirmed -- to the Supreme Court who would continue America’ march away from God and the godly principles of our nation’s founders.

Fast day 13

Well still no coke, no coffee, nothing sweet and no meat.
I am still alive and doing great!
I love Jesus!!

Me and the O

When I pick Lilly up from school Owen and I play on the playground for a but. Today we were sitting on a bench playing rock, paper, scissor. Any way he was so confused because I told him I had a choice. He told me over and over to be scissors so he could hit my hand with the rock!

Lilly goes back to school tomorrow after being off for her fall break. She needed her nails done! Love her!
