When Lilly and I go to school in the morning we leave a little early so we can pray together and she can enjoy the greatest thing ever! Our butt warmers!

Amazing!

It is purely amazing how well the kids do on the computer. There are some fantastic children's sites that we like to play on. With little to no instruction the kids are off and learning!

Making Cinderella

We like to make our costumes. All those years in theater I learned a thing or two about making costumes. Truthfully I can do anything with hot glue!
I found this pink Easter dress used for four dollars. We dyed it blue with RIT. Lilly found this great material that is shiny and blue that we hot glued to the inside and outside of the dress. Kind of like covering a couch. And then our favorite part. As Lilly would say blinging it out! We did as much as we could for today and will have her final pictures Thursday for her Cinderella debut!
I am such a proud mama!!

We did a project! I love Pinterest! My mind is zooming with all kinds of projects!
After we put the flooring in this summer I and got new furniture I felt like our dining room was lacking color. So we painted our table and chairs blue! I am blissfully in love!

Flash Forward!

We had a snow day today! And just because we have a snow day does not mean we can sit in front of the TV and let it's garbage spew in our home.
So while I was cleaning the bathrooms from our flu fest this is how I found Lilly. With my MP3 player a bag of Chips and my nail file! At least it's not TV!

Sweet Stinker!

We have been really sick! We thought Lilly had food poisoning but it just hung on and trickled to all of us. Owen seemed to get over the yuck faster than any of us. Last night Lilly and I were both sleeping in my bed and Owen in his. About ten o'clock I felt a little hand on my leg and a sweet little voice praying for me. Owen asked God to heal my tummy and then he went to Lilly and prayed for her! Those are the moments in life when Jesus shines through your weakness. I will never ever forget his sweet voice praying for us.
He is a sweet little man even if he has a stinker grin!

Huuuuummmmmm.......

Our family lives on a busy corner in our neighborhood. I love my home but I would love to pick it up and relocate it, about twenty miles east! Since this is not a possibility we continue to be blessed and love our home and improve on what the Good Lord has given us. I found this sign that I just may recreate! We get a ton of knocks at our door especially during the summer!

What do you do?

We make breakfast at 7:45pm!
We have had a wonderful weekend but it was incredibly busy! After running major errands, making parts for a Cinderella costume, singing in two different services loving every minute by the way, painting a table...more on that later, Gary qualifying at the gun range and watching a movie with our kids. At 7:45 we all took a deep breath and realized yay we have a three day weekend and have not had any dinner! So Lilly said lets make pancakes! We did and it turned into a full breakfast! We are now off to the best movie theater in the world right in our own house for a late night super hero fest!
Thank you Jesus for my family and three day weekends!

I Am Glad They Are Comfortable

Do they look comfortable? Because underneath them is me! I was reading a book an the couch when the next thing I knew my children used me as their sofa!

Love Having a Girl

Lilly is so much fun! She makes me laugh so hard. We were doing some shoe shopping and as she was wearing these sparkly platforms she was walking pigeon-toed and talking with a British accent!
She is out of control!!

Happy Valentines Day

We have an event planner in the making! Lilly has been planning a Valentines party for weeks! She gave us all jobs. I was to order pizza, Owen was to get drinks, Gary was supposed to get doughnuts, and Grammie and Grampy were supposed to make cupcakes!
Funny thing is we all listened to her.

I Love Sunday

I had an amazing time of worship this morning! God is amazing! I have missed singing with the modern team. I am already looking forward to next weekend.
I made it home about 10:30 made brunch and put my jammies on! Lilly,Owen and I are still in our jammies! Gary got dressed and has been playing in the shop. The kids and I were going to watch a movie but Owen decided to play with his lego's and Lil and I made a huge mistake and watched Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. A great reminder as to why we don't turn on TV!

Between Gary and I we have five tattoos! I think there is room for one more right??

My kids make my heart smile. They are great kids I adore them so much. As I think all moms adore their children. I like other moms want to make sure I am doing the right thing for my babies.
I read a lot, and just recently started reading a book that I should have started reading a long time ago. This book has the word of God all over it. And for those of you who are serious about raising your children in Christ you have got to read this book! I am serious this book is really special. It's called Guarding Your Childs Heart. Please read it if you have little ones. The most important job we have as parents is leading our babies to Jesus. There is nothing more important!
I have a copy if anyone would like to borrow it and Mardel has several copies.

From Friday Dads and Doughnuts

Today was such a sweet day for Lilly! She was so excited she actually got up early! Today was doughnuts with Dad day at school. Lilly is definitely a Daddy’s girl. She adores Gary. I have a picture of Lilly all dressed up in a pretty little sweater dress sitting on a blanket handing Gary tools while he was working on the jeep. Gary took her to get a special coffee at Starbucks before going to school; I wish I had a picture of the both of them carrying their coffee together! Lilly took him all over the school. Showing him her library which is her very favorite place, the music room and back to her class. She was so excited to introduce him to all her friends. Gary was just as excited and said he kind of felt like a rock star because Lilly kept introducing him to everyone!
They are so sweet together………and rotten!

This is how Gary feeds the kids when I am at work! I did not know they made hot dogs that big!
No wonder they are happy when I go to work!
