Owen and his games!

Owen is very interested in playing computer games. We have a few of our favorite sites that we allow him to play on. One the kids really love is big light. It's fun and encourages Bible Verse memorization. And Owens very favorite is Hot Wheels!

All a girl needs is a dress and her Converse Sneakers!

I am sure you can tell from the pictures but Lilly was being quite the actress this morning! She is super funny, her crazy little attitude and now Italian accent!

My Favorite Day

Sundays have all ways been my favorite day of the week. It's all about God and family. We spent the morning sleeping. And I do mean we slept in a good long time. We all got up around 9:00. That is super late for us. We had a good old fashioned breakfast and the it was off to do some cleaning up in our yard. Gary and I are debating about putting a deck on the front of the house. So we took a bunch of measurements and figured up about how much it will cost. This of course is if we get everything in our backyard we want to get done. I think we can swing it we just have to be disciplined! Something Gary is great at and me not so much!
To finish our day we are having chili and salad and watching the Bible.
The Bible has been an amazing series so far. Great imagery to see the stories of the Gospel come alive. We have had to do a lot of explaining to the kids and shield their eyes from some of the violence. But we both agree this is a great way of teaching the kids Truth. Lilly and Owen are amazing at remembering Bible stories and are constantly telling us what is coming next!
This weeks episode brings us up to the introduction of Jesus! I am so thankful for the opportunity to watch this as a family. We are blessed and just resting up for one more week of work and school before our little family vacation!
On another note my folks are on their
way to Az for several weeks and my mom sent Teddy and I a text this morning with the caption, how you know you are not in Colorado anymore! And here is the picture she sent with it.
And our day was also not complete with out some green milk, thanks for stopping by Uncle Teddy!!

Okay......So I have a habit of accidentally hitting the refrigerator in the garage. So every day when I come home from work the three if them guide me into the garage. And then clap for me when I do good!

Ah Sunday

Sunday oh how I love thee!
I got to sing this morning, however I didn't do very well at alter. I have major issues hearing and the song I was singing is a fantastic song that I could not hear. I was standing to the left of my friend that was leading so my deaf right ear was toward him and of course my left ear failed me and my monitor pack died at the worst moment ever. But God is good and I enjoy every moment singing that God allows me.
We have really had a lazy catch up day today. Doing chores and getting ready for another busy week.
My kiddos made Gary and I a Lego creation! I think Jesus is definitely working on their little hearts!
Don't forget the Bible is in at 6:00 mountain time!

Surprise

I got to surprise my Lilly at school today! I took her out if school early and she and I went on a serious shopping spree! She was so excited and surprised!
We went to Children's Place, Famous Footwear and Clair's. After spending a small fortune on several new outfits, shoes, scarves and earrings we had a treat at the pretzel maker!
These are the surprises she will always remember!

Reading

Lilly reads to us everyday. She pretends she is the teacher...... Or star as she likes to say! And since we have no stage the kitchen counter has to do.

This has changed the way we do entertainment in our home! Oh my gosh it's so incredibly good!

Beautiful Day

Lilly and I both have summer fever! She was thrilled to do some yard work today while Owen rode his bike.

Pinterest

I am seriously in obsession with Pinterest! When Gary and I put flooring in this past summer we lost a lot of our color. Pinterest is an amazing tool and my head is spinning with indoor and outdoor ideas. I love cozy color and could not figure out how to get my blue back. Pinterest gave me the idea to paint the table and chairs and to find some blue throws! I had a gift card to pier one and decided to spend it on the blankets. I love how literally a little paint in the dining room and some blankets changed how a room comes alive! I am a wiz at finding unique items at goodwill and on sale. On Thursday Owen and I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and found this great candle holder marked down from $76.99 to $11.99! All because its discontinued and the company wants to get rid of them!
More Pinterest projects to come... We have chalkboard and glow in the dark paint and a bunch if lanterns and jars from goodwill!

Owen

This little man keeps me and Gary on our toes. He has an amazing sense of humor. And love to create mischief. In this picture he has a blue tung.....where he got the blue tung is anyone's guess! We probably don't want to know....

Such a Wonderful Surprise!

When I came home from work yesterday I found the most wonderful little note and keychain from my sister in law Tammy! It made my day and made me feel special!
The key chain has a little girl and boy along with Lillian and Owens names a pink diamond and a love chain!

Our Cinderella

We were such a proud bunch tonight! Lilly is such a beautiful graceful talented little gift! She has a heart that shines brighter than her glitter! She was an amazing Cinderella. Her first staring role in 2nd grade!

So Blessed!

I had the sweetest thing happen today. I spent the morning at Lilly's school helping Lilly change into her costume for her play. The kids had their performance for the school today. And while all the classes were piling in the fifth grade was last.
You know fifth graders don't really think parents are that fun anymore let alone any adults. But praise God for our Radiant kids! I had one young man come up to me and wave and say hi I go to Radiant. And then another young man said hi you sing really good, I know you from church!
You can pick a Radiant Kiddo a mile away they truly blessed me today!

I take tons of pictures of my kids because I want to remember everything. Lilly is such a little lady and fashionista all in one. I love how she wakes me early to curl all her hair and then convinces me to wear my scarf!

So Excited

Gary and I decide to take the kiddos on a mini vacation! We are going to spend three days and two nights in one of our favorite places here in colorado. Glenwood Springs is simply beautiful it's close to Aspen and we are staying at this fun little hotel that has an indoor water park, and tram to the Glenwood Caverns. During the summer the caverns are awesome and offer some great hiking trails, as well as a really cool alpine slide and rock climbing wall! It's a must for families in Colorado.
So excited I can't wait until spring break!
