That means thank you in dog! Bailey and Bradley are in love with my dad. Every once in a while at the commissary the have these huge bones and my dad gets them for our puppies!
Bailey and Bradley are so loved I am going to be so sad the day they go see Jesus. They are very very old puppies and Bradley is suffering from hip dysplasia so this will be a rough cold winter for him. Bailey won't run anymore and hates walks. I can remember when Gary and I would pack them up and run them up gold camp and Rampart and Bailey loved to go camping. I miss those days. Bailey is a little over twelve and Bradley is a little over eleven they are old but loved puppies!

Praying For Our Nation
Saturday, Oct. 27
Pray for believers to be much more concerned about the glory of God’s Name and
spread of Christ’s Kingdom than their own economic and personal interests.
“For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also ... No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be loyal to the one and despite the other. You cannot serve God and mammon ... But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”
• Pray that believers will vote with their Bible rather than just their pocketbook.
• While economic issues loom large in this election, pray that in their voting decisions believers
will place the highest priority on those issues that relate to God’s standards and will for our
nation.
• Pray that believers will not make their decisions based primarily on their economic status, their
race or their party affiliation but rather on the degree to which a candidate’s positions (or a cause) lines up with the written word of God.
Pray against the spirit of mammon and other idolatrous forces that cause believers to be blinded to the truth of God’s word:
• Pray that in this voting process, believers would not be blinded or influenced by the love of money, their own personal comforts or anything else that conflicts with the kingdom of God and His will for our nation.

Fast Day 11
I can't believe we have made it this far! I can't lie I am so tired of vegetables, beans, brown rice and brown pasta. I have done surprisingly well with no coffee and just a half of coke during this time.
I am so faithful in Christ and love this feeling of total dependence on God.

Praying for our Nation
Thursday, Oct. 25
Pray that believers will not get caught up in the negative, in fault-finding or personal disparagement as the campaigns heat up:
• Pray that the attitudes, words and actions of Christians will not dishonor God or show disrespect to other people.
Do all things without complaining (grumbling) or disputing (arguing), that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. (Phil. 2:14-1
• Pray that believers will continue to show respect -- and to pray -- for incumbent office- holders, including those they wish to see replaced in this election.
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions and giving of thanks be made for all men, for kings and all who are in authority, that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of our God our Savior. (1 Tim. 2:1-3)
Pray against the spirit of divisiveness that grips our land, that it not infect the body of Christ.:
• Pray that Christians will not give place to the spirits of anger and rage, nor allow roots of bitterness to spring up, because of their concerns and/or passions during this election season.

Praying For Our Nation October 24, 2012
Wednesday, Oct. 24
Pray that God will give America leaders of integrity who govern in righteousness, wisdom and biblical truth and that God will raise up a “standard of righteousness” across the nation:
• Pray for divine favor on candidates who espouse biblical values.
• Pray for candidates with godly values to prevail in local, statewide and national elections.
o Pray specifically for races within Colorado.
o Pray that candidates with pro-life and pro-family views will prevail in races for the
Colorado legislature and the U.S. House of Representatives.
o Pray that Colorado’s electoral votes in the presidential race go to a candidate who holds
to biblical standards on key issues such as the sanctity of life and marriage, religious
freedom and unwavering support for the nation of Israel.
• Pray that believers will turn out to vote in large numbers and support candidates who are
committed to support the sanctity of human life, traditional marriage, freedom of religion and the security of the nation of Israel..
o Pray for a record turnout in El Paso County.
Pray that any wicked or evil influences will become impotent in their efforts to bring down god- fearing candidates for election.
• Bind all spirits of deception and fraud that would seek to spread false accusations or manipulate the voting process. Pray that voter fraud and/or suppression by any party will be exposed and prevented.
• Pray against any attempts to introduce false charges or unfounded revelations just prior to the election.
Pray for the Spirit’s direction and anointing in Radiant’s intercessory prayer service tonight.
It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established by righteousness. (Prov. 16:12)

Praying For Our Nation October 23, 2012
• According to 2 Chron. 7:14, repent for our sins and the sins of nation in turning away from the living God and His standards of righteousness.
For the time has come for judgment to begin at the house of God. (1 Peter 4:17)
Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament and mourn and weep! Let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and He will lift you up. (James 4:8-10)
• Pray for deep conviction of sin, fervent prayer and true revival to sweep Christ’s church. “Now, therefore, says the Lord, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.” So rend your heart, and not your garments. Return to the Lord you God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm. (Joel 2:12-13)
• Plead for God’s mercy and grace on the church and our nation.
O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies. O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! Do not delay for Your own sake, my God, for Your city and Your people are called by Your name. (Dan. 9:18-19)
• Pray that He would restrain His righteous judgment and turn us to Himself in fervent love and deep repentance.
Restore us O God of our salvation, and cause Your anger toward us to cease. Will You be angry with us forever? Will You prolong Your anger to all generations? Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You? Show us Your mercy, Lord, and grant us Your salvation. (Ps. 85:4-7)
Pray against the “leaven” in the church:
• Come against the spirit of complacency in the church.
• Come against the spirit of compromise in the church -- among leaders and individual believers.
• Come against the worldliness that has crept into the church.
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world – the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life – is not of the Father but of the world. (1 John 2:15-16)
Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Whoever therefore wants to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. (James 4:4)
Pray for believers to fully humble themselves, placing their primary trust in God,
not in political parties, economic systems or governments:
No king is saved by the multitude of an army; a mighty man is not delivered by great strength. A horse is a vain hope for safety; neither shall it deliver any by its great strength. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who hope in His mercy, to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord; He is our help and our shield ... Let Your mercy, O Lord, be upon us, just as we hope in You. (Ps. 33:16-20, 22)
Pray that believers would not commit the idolatry of placing economics or politics above God and biblical truths.
“You shall have no other gods before Me.” (Exodus 20:3)

The kids are having sweet tooth withdrawals so I let them make some cookies!

One Day This Will Be Funny
Right now I want to wallop the kids. They have been a little rambunctious this evening. I am not sure who's idea this was but I am sure the conversation went something like this.
Hey Beavis put this car on your head.
Cool huhuhu...... Thats cool Butthead, turn it on. Huhuhu....
Good grief, the joys of motherhood.
I tell you for a little girl that wants long hair I have sure cut a lot of chunks out of it!

Praying For Our Nation October 22, 2012
Monday, Oct. 22
Pray for voters to have the wisdom to see through political rhetoric and clearly understand truth:
• Pray for deception and distortion to be exposed and integrity to be revealed in all the different campaigns.
• Pray that there will be a spirit of truthfulness in the elections, by the candidates, their campaign staffs and on the part of all media.
Lying lips are an abomination to the Lord, but those who deal truthfully are His delight. (Prov. 12:22)
• Pray that the voters will know and correctly discern the true character of each candidate on the ballot.
It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established by
righteousness. (Prov. 16:12)
• Pray that voters will carefully consider candidates’ ability to lead.
• Pray that believers will earnestly pray for direction on candidates and issues, placing biblical
standards ahead of personal interests or partisan preferences.
Pray against lying, deceiving or seducing spirits that would blind voters to the truth.

Praying For Our Nation October 21, 2012
Sunday, Oct. 21
Pray for the election of candidates for federal office who will support the nation of Israel..
Pray for the peace of Jerusalem. “May they prosper who love you.” (Ps. 122:6)
“I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse him who curses you.” (Gen. 12:3) ... for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. (Zech. 2:8)
• Since our nation’s support for Israel is tied to our own national wellbeing, it is imperative that we pray for the election of candidates for the presidency and Congress who will steadfastly stand with Israel, particularly at this time when its very existence is at risk.
• Pray for those now in office and those running for office that America will be a loyal and reliable ally to Israel.
• Pray that American leaders who are wavering in their support for Israel either change their position or be removed from office.
• Pray also for the leaders and people of Israel that God will give them direction and protection during this time of great peril. Pray daily for the peace and protection of Jerusalem.
Pray against anti-semitism and other spiritual forces (including Islam which is under the control of the spirit of the Anti-Christ) who are bent on destroying Israel.
• Come against the spiritual forces of evil that they will be restrained and thwarted in their attempts to destroy Israel.
• Pray against the same evil spirits who work through the United Nations – and many leaders in our own country – to undermine Israel’s security and curry favor with Islamic nations.

Who needs coffee, meat, tv? Not us!!
Today was a good day. We played hookie from church this weekend to catch up on sleep and house work. I kid you not all of us were still asleep at 9:39 this morning and it felt really good!
Dinner tonight was fresh wheat pasta with olive oil and zucchini mushrooms and sundries tomatoes and stewed fresh tomatoes.

Lilly Tried To Burn The House Down
Poor Lilly just wanted to heat her bagel up. I had my back turned and smoke was pouring out of the microwave. My house smells like burned plastic. She was so upset. I told her to put the bagel on one of the white plates. My bad I did not mean the picnic plates!
Poor kid!

Praying for our Nation October 20,2012
Saturday, Oct. 20
Pray for the restoration and protection of our freedom of religion:
• Repent for the silence and passivity of the church as our religious freedoms have eroded.
• Pray that our freedoms guaranteed by the First Amendment of the Constitution, including
freedom of religion, be restored and protected.
• Pray that the flood of restrictions on religious freedom that have come about in recent years be reversed.
• Pray for the election of candidates who support freedom of religion – and freedom of expression by people of faith.
• Pray for the election of a President and governors who will appoint judges who are committed to protecting freedom of religion and speech.
• Pray for the more than 1,000 pastors – including our own senior pastor – who are taking a public stand against the legal assumption that pastors and churches have no right to express an opinion on political issues.
• Pray for the Supreme Court to ultimately rule that the “gag order” inserted into a bill decades ago by Sen. Lyndon Johnson on political expression by non-profits – especially religious institutions and leaders -- is unconstitutional.
• Pray that ungodly and unconstitutional requirements that violate the beliefs and freedoms of Christian-oriented educational institutions, health care providers and businesses be removed.
• Pray that God would raise up men and women to serve in our government with wisdom and integrity and lead us back to being "One Nation Under God."
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord. (Ps. 33:12)
Pray against the demonic assaults against religious freedom in our land:
• Come against the spirit of anti-Christ which is working through ungodly people, including many in government, to “detach” America from its Christian roots by re-writing American history and seeking to remove the laws of God – and all talk of God – from our public life.
And this is the spirit of the Antichrist, which you have heard is coming, and is now already in the world. (1 John 4:3) Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is anti- christ who denies the Father and the Son. (1 John 2:22) Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Anti-Christ is coming, even now many anti-christs have come, by which we know it is the last hour. (1 John 2:18)
• Using the mighty weapons of the Spirit, come against the onrushing tide of secularism, which has become America’s de facto state religion.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God to the pulling down of strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ. (2 Cor. 10:3-5)
• Come against the spiritual forces of darkness working through advocacy organizations such as the Freedom From Religion Foundation that seek to impose a total ban on expressions of faith in all public arenas.
• Pray for the boldness and effectiveness of faith-based advocacy groups as they challenge actions by schools, local and state governments and other public institutions that restrict freedom of religion and religious expression.
• Pray that government leaders at all levels will not be intimidated or deceived into taking actions that restrict religious freedom.

Fast Day Five
I can't lie today was a little rough. I just love my morning coffee from Starbucks especially on a Saturday. But I did it and I faithfully continue to pray for our country and family. Gary is pretty amazing faithfully praying and keeping me accountable!
For brunch I came home from work to find whole wheat organic pancakes!
In my favorite shape, that pook is a good man!
