Sound Check

Gary was messing around with our new camera during my sound check. Funny because it was in my purse.

AAAAAHHHHHHH!

Kind of strange but I do this every year the day after Christmas. I post pictures of some of the rooms in our house to see how we have changed from the previous year. I like the kids rooms the best because they change so much from year to year. Owen loves his cars and Lilly loves pony's. Gary and I did some re-arranging of the basement and dining room. I know it is kind of strange to post but i want the kids to see everything from their childhood when they are older!

Amazing Christmas

We had such a great Christmas. Gary and I are so thankful for our family and friends. We had ton's of phone calls and it felt so wonderful to have multiple conversations with Teddy. Felt like they were with us all day!! Lilly and Allie got to talk and I think hearing Allie's voice gave Lilly the Best Christmas ever! My folks were missing the Allie Bear so they stayed up super late last night to hear Allie get up in Germany and see her presents from Santa, they are so good, I know that made Allie's Christmas special, she knows her Grammie and Grampy love her. Sometime a little phone call is all it takes even an ocean away! We are looking forward to taking down all our decorations tomorrow and eventually we are going to have our annual Perkins Haynes Christmas. Hope everyone had a good day!

Merry Christmas Blessed Are We

Away In A Manger

Gary and I are so humbled by our Lord, and so thankful for the realization of Christmas. We could not be more grateful to our wonderful families and friends. We are so happy that Teddy is safe this Christmas and loving time with his two beautiful girls, Stephanie and Allie Bear. Lee,Karen,Chris,Tammy and girls we are so happy you all have such wonderful traditions and have lots of family to share this Christmas together. Lilly and Owen have twinkles in there eyes. Tonight we start by celebrating at mom and dads, and then we take a drive to see all the Christmas lights. After a short drive we will return to our home to open a few gifts from each other. The morning is a long wait for twinkled eyed babies where we wake to see if God has allowed a visit form Santa. The day will continue by another visit to my folks house to see if Santa stopped there! And he always does.

During this most wonderful time of year in everything we do we give all glory to God most high! Bright Blessings and Merry Christmas!

Sleding!

It snowed! We got up really early this morning had breakfast and went sledding. We had such a good time! The kids love flying down the hill. In all honesty I don't know if Gary and I or the kids had more fun sledding. We finished the morning with coffee and hot chocolate from our favorite place and we are off to baking cookies and wrapping presents! God is so good giving us this time together!
