I am a fashionable skinny girl I am just stuck...

Ok I am Fat. Wow that really hurts to write this and see it because it is so true and the truth hurts. Sometimes I figure if I put a enough make up and hairspray on that no one will notice that I am huge. The fat thing really holds me back in so many areas of my life. I am literally a very fashionable skinny girl I am just stuck in this morbidly obese thing I have to call a body.
I woke up this morning and said enough. I have got to take better care of myself. I can't wait to meet Jesus and smell the coffee in Heaven but I know that God wants me to be my best me right here. This does not just include my dedication to Christ and my family in small parts of my life but my whole entire life and that includes the temple that Jesus lives in. I want Jesus to be happy with my spirit and body. The words "Well Done" mean something to me, in fact they mean everything to me. I ask people to give everything to Jesus just as he has, and I have left this fat thing out of  my personal walk. So its time for me to get healthy for Jesus and my family. I am going to include posts regularly on my progress. And use my blog for some therapy, I am going to really need it!
I started today by walking to work walking home on my lunch break and eating healthy. I pray I will continue. It only takes twenty one days to make a good habit and I intend on being a healthy weight before this year is over!

He gives power to those who are tired and worn out; he offers yeah strength to the weak. Even
youths will become exhausted, and young men will fall give up. But those who wait on the LORD
will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow
weary. They will walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:29-31 (NLT)

Really

I Stayed up pretty late just enjoying the perfect calm summer evening. Got a little carried away reading a book. When I finally went to bed this is what I found. Also just to prove they really have their own beds I took a picture. AND the beds are still made up. I guess that is one less morning chore!!

Happy 7th Birthday My Love

We all love our babies as we should, but I must say I have the most special little girl in all the world. Today was Lilly's 7th birthday. She is humble, giving, funny and most of all a lover of Jesus. She has a heart for Christ that shines right through her baby blue eyes. She has become one of my vary favorite people and is wise beyond her years. Gary and I could not be more thankful for her love. We see Lilly as a gift and cherish her everyday. I have a feeling that the Lord has special plains for Lilly Grace.
We pray that Lilly continue to seek the Lord in all she does and Lead with His love and Grace.

Thankful For Memorial Day

I am one of those people who all ways loved Memorial Day, it's the start of summer ya know! We get out the pool put out all the flowers and get ready to jump in full swing to our favorite time of year. However this day is so so much more. I have come to know the sacrifice that so many brave men and women have given for my family to enjoy this day. Blood has been shed, literally limbs and life has been lost for my great joy of the start of summer.
This year is different and I pray for the families that have lost loved ones for our freedom. I pray that we are teaching our children the enormous sacrifice that these brave people have made.
I have a little brother who is my personal Hero. He is amazing, smart and talented man. He has served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. And I know that those deployments did not come easy to Teddy, Stephanie, Allie and my parents. My brother has sacrificed and seen so many thing that we will never understand. I have talked with family and friends that say he has changed and yes he has changed. We will never ever understand the loss that our soldiers have seen or felt and carry with them. We can only pray that they give their burden to the One and Only who gave everything. I pray that today our Soldiers do not fear the war and they lift their eyes to Jesus.

I personally want to thank my two very favorite soldiers actively serving this great Nation.
CPT Teddy Perry also know as my favorite little brother and my good friend and fellow worship leader CPT Matt Pratt. I Love and respect you both so very much. We pray for your safety every day.

Please take a moment and pray for the families of the following soldiers that have lost their lives serving our Country. These brave men and women are all friends and comrades of Teddy's.

No I Did Not Look

We were so excited about the eclipse. But this was one we could not look at directly. So I went out every so often during the hour of the eclipse and took pictures so we could see what it looked like. I did take pictures with my iPhone so they just look like sun bloobs but it was a learning moment none the less!

Our Little Mountain

Summer is in its way and we could not wait any longer to visit our little mountain. However no one told our little spot to melt its snow!!!! We did have a great time romping around even if it was super cold. The jeep was happy to shed its top for the summer too! Can't wait to go camping all night this year, we all are getting some new sleeping bags along with our left over Army gear! The kids were mapping out where the tents and the fire pit will go! Yay summer!!

Trees

Continuing with our outside makeover we planted 9 lavender bushes, two apple trees, one plumb tree and three lilac bushes. They look so pretty. Usually we would have taken booth jeeps for this type of shopping trip. But we decided to just shove all four of us along with our small Forrest in my liberty! Gary was so impressed that I all way remember to take pictures!

Bye

My kids are the only kids in the world that like to release their balloons! We are quite dramatic with our countdowns and binoculars!

Yahoo!

The kids love riding their bikes!! They have both outgrow these bikes so I think we need to make a trip to the bike store and let them pick new ones!!! Can't wait to take them to Garden of The Gods this summer to ride.
