Grand Prix Cars In The Making

Grand Prix races are next month at church and Gary and the kids are having a lot of fun working on the cars.

God is so Amazing and I pray that we can all see the blessings in small inconveniencies.

God is so Amazing and I pray that we can all see the blessings in small inconveniencies. Right around Christmas time I took my jeep in to get its checkup and an oil change. At that time I was told that I really should put some new tires on. The gentleman at Faircy Boys told me I could go a little bit longer on these tires but it was definitely time to start thinking about new ones. Since it was Christmas Gary and I decided to for go tires and enjoy the season, so we started putting some money aside to get tires in the spring. Gary and I have not really talked much about the tires they are in good shape and I when I drive I pretty much just stay in the neighborhood. The other night at dinner Gary asked me how our tire savings is doing. I told him it's fine and how much we have saved and we will be fine to get new ones in spring. He says to me lets get them next week, he said he would feel better if we just got them sooner rather than later. I usually handle all the finances and was thinking this is just not going to happen but I play this little game and we can talk later! The tires have been really bugging Gary and he is very admit about us getting new ones right away. Last night we had a conversation and I said we just don't have all the money yet. We will but it's going to take another month or so for us to pay cash, because we don't do credit cards at all. And this does not constitute as an emergency. So as the doorbell rang my friend Lindsey came over to help me do our taxes. Keep in mind we owe the state of Colorado every year. We usually get a refund from federal but it's usually just enough to pay the state so nothing comes out of our pockets. Well God had other plains, we for the first time will have enough to pay the state and guess how much is leftover????? Just enough to buy new tires. The story does not end here, this afternoon while coming home from a doctors appointment my tire sensor went off telling me my back rear tire was low on pressure. Sure enough I pulled into the driveway and have a flat! How amazing is God. My family has never been so blessed. God gives us exactly what we need! I am so thankfult to the Lord for His amazing Grace and fantastic timing!

Valentines Day

Had a great day just Gary and I and our little people. We went to church and heard a great message on Sex biblically in a married relationship. It was really good. We are very thankful for a Pastor that gives messages to us straight from the bible, non of this changing things to make it mean what we want to hear.We then did fondue as a family and watched Kun Foo Panda!

God Is So Good To Let Us Learn

The kids and I do a daily devotion in the morning when Gary is at work. Right now we are studying God's Creation. Teaching the kids about God making everything is a vast subject so we do a lot of projects and building structures, we also use the Internet to show the kids different images. Lilly is really into space and the planets. She really likes to watch the NASA channel, so we did a craft with foam balls to illustrate Gods amazing power with space and they are both learning about how space goes forever and the different planet names and galaxies. Both Lilly and Owen love the Egyptian Pyramids. We made our own Great Pyramid out of pillows. The point to all of this is to teach Lilly and Owen the power and wonders of God. And how amazing he is. We want the kids to know that God is the maker of all things and that they are to respect His creations.

Happy Birthday Matt

We celebrated the life of Gary's brother today a little over a week late but Matt would understand. We of course went to his favorite restaurant Red Lobster. Gary told stories of his brother to the kids. I pray that Lilly and Owen will continue this tradition for many years to come! Happy Birthday Matt we miss you!

Sick Days Can Be Fun

The kids have not been feeling all that great so we took it easy today, we watch Curious George the movie had pizza and played with play-doh aka ploo dee! Great memories even on a sick day! Sometime I think we get the yuck so God can remind us of just plain simplicity! God is definitely good, because I have enjoyed all my cuddles and hugs from my babies!
