My People

This has been one of those weeks that I am so incredibly thankful that my God is bigger than my earthy problems! I love how His holy presence surrounds us in times of need. Earlier this week my dad was rushed to the hospital and now he is home, doing very well. I know this is just silly, but I dropped my cell phone and it's a mess and to top off this week Gary the kids and I were on our way to get our favorite coffee up in Woodland Park and was rear ended! This scared the kids, but everyone is completely fine! Please pray for the poor lady who hit us, she feels terrible and her car is in not drivable. 

 Today our little family was supposed to be at our North Church Campus work day. But after the week I had my Lead Pastor called me and totally told me not to come and to rest and spend the day with my family. I needed this so badly! I love my church family for loving me enough and recignizing that I needed a break. 

So we headed to our sanctuary in the mountains, got our favorite coffee and headed up to our annual fall train ride! We loved the beauty only God could create and the moments of love with just the four of us! My heart is well and full of love!

Because not enough has gone on this week. We got rear ended! No one was hurt, that's all that matters!

That Time

That time when the greatest staff ever pulled of a MAJOR event in like 48ish hours! 

Hospital

Oh the hospital, such a miserable place. It's miserable until this doggie with his man bun comes in! 

This Girl

This is one of my favorite people ever! We have more fun than should be aloud. We work and play hard! 

Read Night

We went to Owens read night at his school in the midst of last weeks busy. It was a fun break from the hospital and from planning a large event at work. The teachers at this school are nothing short of amazing! They read a great pirate book and acted it out for the kids, it was fun! 

Mornings!

I love my mornings with the kids. It starts my day off right. We pray and just love on each other. I'm really proud my Lilly and Owen they are pretty special! Owen was in the backseat, but he is a little man who hates pictures! 

It's liquid

We are on a fast with church. I'm doing all liquids with the exception of a salad on Saturdays. Well I forwent the salad and opted for ice cream, it's liquid... My stomach is going to hate me! I did not eat the cone! 

So Pretty

Lilly is so pretty! And she loves spicy peppers :) 

Apple Picking

My parents have the best apple tree! Some people drive forever to find good apples we walk up the street.

Over the last several years we have fallen in love with Woodland Park, Green Mountain Falls and Cascade. My church is buying a new building up this way and I got to go visit last week. This view and this coffee is calling me! 

What did we do without her?

Last Summer Weekend

We love our Colorado weather and love taking advantage of the beauty that God has created. This weekend we went up Catamount Reservoir which is about half way up Pikes Peak. Gary and the kids were happy fishing and I took advantage of hiking alone for a couple of hours. It was wonderful, hiking alone makes me feel small and dependent on God. After a bit we decided to go all the way to the top of Pikes Peak. It was cold and windy but beautiful just the same.
