Making Memories

We had a great day yesterday. We went to the outlets to visit my favorite store that was having 80% off all the purses... Usually we go before Christmas and I pick out a purse and Gary gives it to me, this  year we ran out of time so we went up yesterday and I picked out a hot pink beauty! I see purses as a kind if artwork. I never get old of them and even shamefully have them on display in  our bedroom! I have all colors shapes and sizes, I really like them!

Lilly and I had so much fun walking around picking the perfect satchel. We had our selections all narrowed down to three when a sweet little girl came up to me and asked if we could tell her where one if the purses came from. Of course she was talking about my hot pink bag and no amount if cuteness was going to make it leave my hands. Then a sales rep came over to scan it because another gal wanted it. Lilly and I at that point put the other bags down and paid for our little find and ran quickly with our hot pink treasure!

The boys had fun too walking around, they did manage to visit several stores and could not quite understand why Lilly and I spent so much time at Coach. Lilly tried to explaine but she knows they will never understand! 

We then had lunch in Monument and traveled home to see the movie Frozen. It was very sweet and we all enjoyed it!

I love this time with my family it makes my heart well.. 

Well...

The Pizza guy did not have a chance! Gary had a little fender bender leaving the driveway this afternoon. We think the pizza guy was making a wide right turn so much so that he was on the wrong side of the road! No one was hurt both vehicles are still good so no herm done! Notice how the jeep is still on the side walk! We thought the pizza guy would at least get a ticket but the police officers said that since no one was around to see the accident we should just report it to insurance. :) 

It's that time!

I take pictures of my house every year the day after Christmas. I take them for a couple of reasons one I love to see the changes we have made, how the kids rooms have grown up and insurance. Yup insurance. Two of my coworkers lost homes in the Waldo Canyon and Black Forrest Fires. Insurance wanted to know everything from how many outlets, phone outlets to what was inside drawers. They also asked types and colors of appliances. So I literally take pictures of everything even stuff in the garage and laundry room, and sheds. 

Christmas Late Afternoon

We have had a wonderful day of family. I am so thankful to live near my parents and thankful that we have amazing ways to communicate with family across the country! 

This Christmas afternoon Gary, Lilly, Owen and myself had a wonderful time if prayer and the Nativity Story followed by the best fondue ever! We are truly greatful people! 

I seem to catch the boys off guard every time I take a picture! :)

Christmas EARLY Morning!

Well Owen seems to feel much better, praise God! He was the first one up dark and early! I heard him walk to the bathroom and then he ever so gently woke Lilly and then they ever so gently woke us up. By ever so gently I mean a tiny heard of baby elephants sounded by baboons! I love the excitement that they both have, they are so sweet and amazing! 

Our home is filled with lots of presents. We have tons of leggos, flying things, experimental science things, stuffed toys, tools and three kindles! Lilly and Owen do lots of homework on the computer and tablets, both of their teachers have class web-pages so for each of them to have their own kindle is a pure blessing..and mine is just for fun!! We are blessed to have this time together and love all the gifts! Thank you family for all the love!
