Proof

Everyday on my lunch hour I go for a prayer walk! I have truly grown to love my prayer walks, and am incredibly blessed to have an office in such a beautiful part of town. I see all kinds of animals on my walks and started taking pictures of them. There are two little goats that sing, I love them! They are so playful! I see hundreds of bunnies and birds, my favorite are the woodpeckers! There is a horse that now trots over to see me everyday and yesterday there were the sweetest deer! I'm pretty sure this is all proof that I should be a Disney princess!

Running

Our kids are amazing and quick as can be. Lilly and Owen are both doing Landsharks running club this year. Owen is fast, like we have a runner and Lilly has endurance that is endless. We love watching these kids grow and change and discover their passions. I was too busy cheering to take great pictures :(

Lilly The Cook

Lilly has started making dinner a couple times a week. She really does a great job!  This week she prepared burgers to grill, salad and made cranapple ice tea!

Owen Hair

Owen was in need of a haircut. He got up in the chair and asked for a mohawk! I think he is cute!

Happy Birthday Pookers

We celebrated Gary’s 40th Birthday on April 17! This is being written by his much, much younger wife. I love doing life with this man and am blessed with his love and leading! We had a great day with the kids we went to Bass Pro and bowled. Gary did get lost for quite sometime but we eventually found him!  I want to make it very clear who won…That would be the much younger wife who threw four strikes, just say’n! This is after the birthday boy and our children mocked my athletic skills!  We then finished our day at Tucano’s. Gary and the kids love this place and the service is fantastic. I’m not a fan of the food at all, but it was fun. Gary did not want a birthday cake so we had a celebratory coffee instead! Happy Birthday Pookers love my old man!

Fasting

I'm having a slight problem. It's my pancreas. It hurts horribly. I would rather be in labor it hurts that badly. It's truly the most painful hurt I have ever experienced. There is no prediction as to when these attacks are coming. These attacks last for several hours growing in intensity and then it's just over. It leaves me weak and tired, but completely fine. Truly, this is the most horrible hurt I have ever experienced.  I'm entering into a time of fasting and believe this particular attack is because of my upcoming fast. I am praying for strength during this time, to be fully obedient and my heart open for listening. The Lord knows my strength and intentions.

I Love My Church Kids!

Blessed

Amazing, beautiful and powerful services today at Radiant Church!

I adored every minutes of watching people receive new life in Jesus Christ through water baptism and praising and worshiping our Risen King! He is indeed Alive! I'm so in love and in awe of my Savior! I was so proud of my sweet little family! Each one of us served in ministry yesterday it was the perfect Easter! Gary served on the security team, Lilly served in children's ministers with the babies, Owen helped greet new kids and helped my friend bring in breakfast stuff and I was blessed and honored to lead worship! We had an egg hunt and fantastic dinner when we came home! We are so thankful for Life in Christ! He is Alive!

Last Minute

This was awesome to see, wonderful men of God doing last minute preparations for services Sunday! Love the man in the middle most!!

This Week

I had to visit the ER today with Lilly. Thank you to all my family and friends who were praying Lilly was shaken up. You know the spring inside of a pen? Well my little girl managed to get it stuck on her tongue. Gracefulness is not something that comes easy for us Haynes gals!  Apparently she had it in between her teeth and when she was asked to remove it she twisted it right into her tongue.  The doctor at the ER was wonderful, as he kind of chuckled! He numbed her up and cut it out. I’m not going to lie, I was at work and did not see it happen, when my mom called me I thought for sure it was an April Fool’s joke. It’s kind of funny…or maybe tomorrow it will be funny.. Have I mentioned we had a pipe burst and our kitty died?? It’s been one of those weeks, it’s Wednesday.. This week shall pass!

Spring Break

I’m morning Spring Break... We had such a great time from movies to Denver and Salida. Thankful summer is right around the bend.
