Hauntconcert

Lilly’s band played for their annual Hauntconcert. The music they do is pretty great! The kids could dress up in costumes and some of them did. Lilly choose not to wear a costume, that headband though..

Fall Break

Well I won mother of the year award during fall break. I wanted to take some time off but really need to save as much as I can for Disney World. The kids did work at church quit a bit. They like it... and child labor laws don’t count for church kids. 

Old Community

I really miss my old small group.I spent some time reading my old journals and I love the prayers, laughter and life we shared together. It’s sweet to see where those people are today. I’m thankful for the way God answers prayers. It’s sweet to see pictures of families we prayerd for! 

I am longing for that same type of community, it’s funny for someone who works in a large church I feel like I don’t know anyone. Last night I spent time at our little mountain campus. I feel like Gary and I belong in a smaller community. I need a God sized miracle so we can move to the mountains! 

Winter

My tires were bald so we had to get new ones. Gary loves this kind of thing, me not so much!

It’s the first cold day. I’ve had water boiling with oranges and cinnamon and candles going all day. I have read and blogged but Owen did this day the best! 

Tuesday Faces

We do a once a week devotional at either Starbucks or Chick fil A. This is our “getting the devo  on face!”

Value

Friday nights and Saturday mornings have become my thing. We have busy weeks and I love the feeling of our home on Friday evenings. Gary and I have learned the value of quick dates wether a walk together or a quick drive to our favorite cafe to just be together alone and talk. Our home is a sweet place to relax where I tend to look as ugly as possible and enjoy just being us! Our family is fasting and we have cut off Direct TV. It’s peaceful and we aren’t going back to it. Of course we still have the internet and Netflix but I love not having tv. We are in deep prayer and it shouldn’t be amazing but it is when we hear from God. He is doing amazing things in our home.
