Fantastic Weekend!

We had a fantastic weekend full of visiting with our preciouses friends. The weekend started Friday evening with the Worship Department picnic. We had a wonderful time and the weather could not have been better. I love getting a chance to just sit and talk with Kelly who I adore without having to run around at church. Lilly was in heaven with Faith, and Owen had a great time with Luke. Gary and the kids also enjoyed an amazing game of Ultimate Frisbee. This was fantastic to watch, we all know I am super awkward at playing sports so I did sit out but I enjoy watching my friends have a great time.
Saturday we were off to Ally's 5th birthday party. Its always a blast getting to see our Perkins family. It is really fun watching all the kids grow up. Sarah and I are excited that I will have weekends off so we can do breakfast and she and I can have a girls night! We always love seeing our Perkins family!
We are beyond blessed. Gary and I are very thankful for our family and friends. This has been such a wonderful summer visiting and catching up. Its hard to believe that next Thursday school starts and we will once again become super busy. We are faithful to our God and know He will make time for rest, family and friends!

Driving to work this morning I saw something so bad. I am talking very very bad.

I yelled at the tree and told it to stop it!

Come Worship With Us!!

I love to sing to Jesus! I love nothing more than great moments of worship with my church family. Gary and I have found a fantastic biblical church where we can watch our kids grow in Christ. I encourage all my family and friends who have yet to find a church home to visit!

They Chose Us

We used to do special movie night every Friday night and we got away from that last year. Since the kids start school in a week and I start my new m-f schedule we decided to bring back our family tradition of special movie night. This week. Our first movie was the new Teen Beach movie from Disney. It was cute kind of a throw back to Grease but cute. During our family movie we weren't without interruption. This is the first summer that we have neighborhood kids coming to our door asking for Lilly and Owen to play. When the doorbell rang my heart kind of sank thinking the kids would want to end our family time and jump on their bikes to be with friends. To my thankful surprise when the doorbell rang both kids jumped up opened the door to tell their friends we are having special movie night and might be able to play afterward. 

My heart jumped for joy when the kids returned to our laps to finish the movie. 

I truly pray that they choose us over others. I know one day that choice may change so for now I am going to love these moments that they are still my babies!

We are very blessed to live right next to a park. We like to think of it as our park :). 

Any who I flaked on making dinner and we went to grab a sandwich  at sub way and had a picnic instead!
