You know you are doing the right thing when....

You hear this conversation between Lilly and Owen.
Lilly-What do you want for Christmas Owen
Owen- I want a jeep that opens the doors
Lilly- Who's birthday is it on Christmas
Owen- God he is the same as Jesus the good guy spirit
Lilly- Good job buggy!
Owen- I want a transformer too.
Lilly- I want a doll like Maddy but I want mine to look like me
Owen-We can ask mommy and Santa
Lilly- I think I will ask God
Owen-OK I will ask God too and mommy because mommy knows Santa and God. God tells mommy when we are bad
Lilly- I know hahahah
Owen-hahaha
Lilly- we should put the candy back
Me Sneaking up on them- Ummmm yeah you should because I know God and Santa!

Well I have packages ready to go to Idaho, Georgia and Afghanistan. I love this time of year and we have parties galore! I am so excited! I am so excited and blessed to be singing with the worship team on Christmas eve. There is nothing like singing to Jesus on the eve of his birthday! Being in church with my family is the best present any one could ever ask for!
Praying everyone is enjoying the start to this wonderful season!

Pep Talk

We really enjoy decorating our home for Christmas. It's a tradition that we as a family do it every year after Thanksgiving. Gary pulled all the indoor decorations for me and the kiddos to start on the inside of the house before he headed outside. After about ten minutes Gary comes back in with a look like oh yeah.... So last year we had a horrible wind storm that broke our hanging lights. We both forgot about this.
And out of my mouth came the most horrible words ever..................................No big deal lets go to Wal-Mart real quick and get some. So all four of us get dressed and head out the door. We made it to the parking lot when I started to have a panic attack. I could feel the crowds in the parking lot. So I stood silent while Gary and the kids happily started into the store. Gary told me to stop being dramatic and lets do this thing. I actually started praying. PLEASE JESUS HELP ME BE KIND IN THE WAL-MART. I made it in the door and my hands were shaking, I could hardly breath. There were people everywhere stuffing their carts will all kind of stuff. We made it to the Christmas area with all the other people. We managed to grab six packs of hanging LED lights and an eight foot snowman. And then we were ready to go......................So we thought.........................The worst part, the checkout. I was starting to melt down and breath heavy, Lilly reassured me I was going to live. She actually asked me if I needed a coke! We waited in this horrible line as I prayed and Gary gave me a pep talk. You can do this.....As Owen kept asking what can mommy do.....And then it happened.  Why this happens I just don't know, but it happens every stinking time I am at Wal-Mart. Those cashiers feel the need to switch the people working at the register. I kid you not we were in line for like  twenty minutes and right when it was our turn they feel the need to switch. Ok I lost it just a little, I lost it nicely kind of. I literally said. Why on earth do you all do this every time I am in line? And why is it that you can't just open another lane and close this one. Who on earth thought this was a good idea to stop everything and put a new person in. Good grief........... Ok I was not nasty really  and I said it in a very joking manner that had the cashier and the people in line laughing. Moral is I knew better than to go to Wal-Mart the day after Thanksgiving. However I am blessed and thankful that I could go, and even more thankful my house is decorated and cozy for Christmas. Now let it snow!

An Early Christmas Present For Me

My husband is so wonderful! I have wanted to get my wedding ring repaired for about a year and I totally keep putting it off. It has worn thin on the underside of the band and split. Well I finally decided to get it fixed so I took my wedding ring in to repair it and while there I decided to have it dipped to give it a white gold look. I also had this other ring that I got for Christmas about five years ago and had it sized. My wedding ring is stunning! My husband did an amazing job thirteen years ago designing it. It needed a fix up and it is simply stunning! The pictures don't do it justice! Thanks Pook I love you!

Wake Up Daddy!

Pook looked way to comfy in bed this morning. We thought we would get him up!

Thankful

This Thanksgiving was wonderful! We had a great day together playing at the park and having a wonderful early dinner with my parents. I am so thankful to the Lord for bringing Teddy back home to the U.S. safley. Something about Ted, Steph and Allie being in another country made them feel so far away. We are so grateful for our wonderful families and friends. We are also so grateful for our wonderful church home. We are some very blessed people. Today we are going to get out our Christmas decorations! I am so excited!!

Blessing everyone, I pray that the real meaning of this season flood in your hearts and homes!

I adore my family!

You know God? Well he gave me an amazing family! My husband and my kiddos are wonderful beyond words. This evening we stopped by the church so I could set everything up for all the classes tomorrow. My whole little family came with me. We moved all the tables around set up about eighty chairs and put out the lessons for the different age groups. I love that the Lord has already given my babies servants hearts. Praise King Jesus man he is so good!!!
I pray everyone is enjoying this season. I love this time of year I am missing my camera it has gone to the dump! I will get another one soon. Those babies of mine are growing so fast I can't imagine going without a camera for to much longer. Love you all Jen.

Really

How Can anyone not like this guy? I mean come on he is not a wife beater, dog killer, gang banger. And when he works with United Way he is really working. Seriously what on earth? I guess you have to be an arrogant thug to have respect in the the NFL. Now with this said his passing game stinks, I am pretty sure I could pass better than him, or even toss the ball. But as a kid watching my favorite number 7 I can remember several times when Elway himself would run with the ball! I like this guy he may not be the best quarterback we have ever seen here in the mile high but he most certainly is one of the most respectable, and represents Colorado well! So give him a break I am getting everyone Tebow jerseys for Christmas!

YES!

I love Denver Bronco football! There is nothing better than taking a short nap on Sunday after church and watching Tim Tebow and the Broncos beat the snot out those Oakland Raiders! God makes Colorado sunsets orange and blue for a reason!

YES!!!! Snow Day!!!!

We had our very first snow day and praise God it was my day off! I get to spend the whole day with my babies! We are going to do some baking and right now the kids are watching a movie all cuddled up together. No one is getting out of there jammie's today! God is so good!
Again my camera is being bad, it's delaying. Dumb thing!

Halloween

Halloween was super quick and fun this year. We went to the Weird Wild and Wacky show at church and finished out the evening going to a few houses in our neighborhood. I made both Lilly and Owen's costumes again this year. Lilly was a garden fairy and Owen was a pirate. We took horrible pictures. My camera is misbehaving so I think once again it's time for a new one!

Spring Break

I’m morning Spring Break... We had such a great time from movies to Denver and Salida. Thankful summer is right around the bend.
