Changes...

Every year after Christmas I take pictures of our house so we can see all the different changes we made over the past year. This year Gary got a new TV and entertainment center for his man basement. This changed a few things we now have the old TV and entertainment center in our bedroom. I am still not so sure I like this. I am not big on TVs in the bedrooms, however I must admit watching movies in bed and snuggling has been fun. The kids rooms continue to change. Sadly it seems nothing is left to prove that sweet little babies were once the occupies of these rooms. Lilly is incredibly in love with her American Girl doll. Lilly named her doll Alexis and she has her own bed and drawers. Lilly loves to read and has tons of books. She love Junie B Jones and Pippy Longstocking and Tinker Bell! Lilly is growing and learning so much. Owen still loves his cars but has added transformers and trains to the mix. Owen is amazing at entertaining himself, he will play for hours all alone in his room! Both the kids are totally into reading and playing games on their Leapsters. Both the kids have really taken to techie things! Gary and I are in trouble when they ask for apple computers! We are blessed beyond mention. God is so good to us and we are incredible thankful for all the blessings He allows. We all know that in a flash it can be taken, more quickly than it was given!

Happy Boxing Day!

Today is one of my very favorite days of the year! This is the day when all the decorations come down and we put all our new presents away! I love to see the changes of the kids rooms year to year and how their tastes have change! We are so blessed to be spending this time together. In a way I am always so thankful to get back to normal and start over for next year!

My Dream Jeep sOoOoO Why Is My Brother Driving It?

Ted and Stephanie got a beautiful new 2012 Jeep Grand for Christmas! It is beautiful and so well deserved. I am so proud of my little brother even if he is driving my jeep!

Happy Birthday Jesus

We had an amazing Christmas! Christmas Eve was fantastic at church, so incredible worshiping Jesus on his birthday it was a pure blessing. While standing on the platform I was in pure awe of all the people who came to worship the Lord. Lilly and Faith stood in front of about seven hundred people last night and welcomed all of the guest by saying Happy Birthday Jesus! I love the moment of being in church as a family, respecting and worshiping the Lord. We had a magnificent dinner at mom and dads, with prime rib, ham, shrimp and all the fixings. We opened a few presents last night and woke up early this morning to see if Santa came. Indeed he did. Lilly and Owen were so excited and they love all the gifts! Gary and I are really proud of our Lilly and Owen. They are great little kids who are so very aware of the importance of Christ. I pray that your families remember the the reason for this day, not a ten minute lesson on the day but a real sense of Christ and his ever lasting life! Merry Christmas everyone!

Weekend Full of Traditions

It's finally here and my kids are over the moon! We are all so very thankful and excited! Today we have a full day traditions. The kids are watching A Charlie Brown Christmas, while I am making a small brunch and Gary is at our favorite place getting coffee. Tonight let the festivities begin with a Christmas Eve service at church and then off to Grammie and Grampy's for our Christmas Eve dinner! After dinner we will open a few gifts to take the edge off the kiddo's and hopefully they sleep tonight.Tomorrow we will wake at the crack of dawn to see if that big guy made it down the chimney and to sing Happy Birthday to the one and Only! So excited for this day! And I get to sing tonight, that is my present!
Blessings Everyone!

Ginger Bread House Time!

Gary and I are so done with work. I go back Tuesday but Gary is home until after New Years! It has been snowing and we have a beautiful blanket of sparkling white snow! The icy roads cancelled my rehearsal tonight, I was a little sad but am so happy to be home with my Pook and Little People.

My Very Favorite Thing Ever

I love Christmas and the coziness it brings to our family. I love cuddling every evening and watching a special Christmas movie. I love the snow and the way people are just a little bit more cheerful. I am excited because Gary and I both have some time off coming at the end of the week and I can hardly wait. But my very favorite thing about Christmas is Christmas Eve service at our church. Sitting with my husband and kids in church is the most wonderful feeling in the world. Because we are celebrating the birth of the One. I feel like a child waiting for Santa to come down the chimney! I am so thankful that I am scheduled to sing again this year. I love worship anytime of the year, but there is something so special  about getting to sing to our Lord on the Eve of His birth. I can't wait until that moment when the lights go down and the worship begins. I spent all most all day in my office listening to the new versions of O Holy Night and Let Us Adore Him. What powerful pieces of music I pray will honor the Prince of Peace. I am praying for our hearts to sing and play and not our flesh, I am praying that there is not a dry eye in the presence of the Lord during this service. I am prayerful that my family and friends remember the love and gift that was born to a virgin in a humble and cold stable. I pray we remember the star that shined and the angles who sang. I pray we remember the wise men who traveled so far to see the New Born King. Praise the Lord for this gift, this gift that none but He could give.
Please join us one of our services this weekend we would be honored to show you around.
Love and blessings this wonderful season.

Well I Had a Feeling

I am not a New England fan at all but they just totally out played my Broncos! Oh well can't win them all, this did show that we could hang in there with one of the best teams in the NFL. We are still ahead of Oakland that is all that matters! Have I mentioned that I can't stand Oakland? Man I miss my brother during football season! I have no one to yell at the TV with!

Santa

The sleigh was all packed, the reindeer were fed,
But Santa still knelt by the side of his bed,
"Dear Father,” he prayed, "Be with me tonight.
There's much work to do and my schedule is tight.
My sack will hold toys to grant all kids' wishes.
The supply will be endless like the loaves and the fishes.
I can do all these things, Lord, only through You.
I just need your blessing, then it's easy to do.
I do this only to honor the birth of the One,
That was sent to redeem us, Your most Holy Son.
So to all of my friends, lest Your glory I rob,
Please, Lord, remind them who gave me this job."

Ok Maybe a Little!

My First itunes Download!

So I got an iPhone! AND IT'S AMAZING! I love it, where have I been! Any who I wanted a special ring. So in honor of Josh my first paid download was Gungor's "Beautiful Things!"
One of my favorite songs. Our worship team did this song a few weeks ago and it was spectacular! Josh would have been proud!

Go Broncos!

That was one H-E-Double Hockey Sticks of a ballgame! Nice job Broncos! The best part of the game was Owen dancing in his underpants saying run Tebow! Gary and I can't wait to take him to his first football game! Now if we could only find Bronco Jerseys!

North Pole

We had a fantastic day! We spent the majority of the day in beautiful Cascade Co. at the North Pole. I am super sore, and so is Gary even though he will not admit it! We went on all the rides with the kids and I tell you we are not made like we used to be made! But we had fun! Gary got me an early Christmas present, a new iPhone! I love apple and love love love my new phone. I took all the pictures with it and even some video. I will figure out how to get that posted to the blog soon. I love this time of year, and am excited for all the events to come in the next few weeks! Praying everyone is having a blessed season!
