A Sick Day With Big Blessings

Well I had a nasty bought with the stomach flu and in the midst of all the mess, God was working his wonders! I have often said I would love to be a fly on the wall when Gary is home with the kids and I would love to just observe what they do all day. Well God gave me that opportunity today. I spent all day in my bedroom trying to keep the sick to myself, this morning I sat by the window in our bedroom and watched my little family play like weirdos in the yard. I am not sure who was having more fun Gary or the kids. I am so thankful for the stomach flu and to be a fly on the wall! One sick day lead to big blessings!!

We are so happy they love each other!

Sing to the Lord

Wow it felt so good up on the platform Sunday singing to the Lord and bringing Him praise. I always knew that music was going to be apart of my life. I just lost the music for a few years. I thought that being a wife and mother was what God intended for me, but instead He intended for me to be a wife, mother, and to sing. I have learned thou Gods Grace that all things are really possible. It is funny that when you listen to the Lord and put aside your own agenda that you open yourself up to a whole new world. I can't imagine my life before I truly walked with the Lord. I am so blessed to have the beautiful life I live I am so incredibly thankful!

Our After Church Picnic

Gary and Lance found this great place up Old Gold Camp this past Friday, so after church we went up for about five hours we love it and have decided to call it Our Little Mountain. The kids love the little stream and we did our nightly reading from the Bible early. Powerful to read the Bible is such a beautiful place!

Congratulations Teddy

Some people live an entire lifetime
and wonder if they have ever made a difference in the world,
but the soldiers don't have that problem.

We are so proud of Teddy! He has done what so many people say they are going to do . He has successfully followed his dream. Teddy is now the commander at his post in Germany. To be so young and a commander, I just can't believe this is my LITTLE brother! We know that the road to this position has been difficult, tiring and full of grief. God has always been on Teddy's side with His hand on Teddy's shoulder every step of the way. I am so blessed that God has given me such a such a wonderful brother, and has created such a wonderful man. Our family so is grateful to the men and women of our Armed forces and I am grateful to be the grandaughter, daughter, wife and sister of such wonderful men.

Blessings

So Thankful For Busy Weeknds

We are so thankful for busy weekends. We did so much this weekend and are so incredably tired. Started with our Ten Year Wedding Anniversary. I just can't believe that Pook and I have been married that long. He is the most wonderful husband a girl could ask for. I love his heart and his Faith. He is a man who knows God and is grateful for God's Grace. Saturday we had a fantastic time at our churches 4Th of July outreach picnic. We are so grateful that God has led us to a church that is so passionate about Christ. Sunday was a day of worship, prayer, remembrance and fun. Church has become a huge part of our family and our relationship with God. After a fantastic service we had our annual lunch at Red Lobster in remembrance of Matthew, Gary's brother who died six years ago. Matt was a great guy and we all loved him and learned so much from him. I love telling stories of Matt to Lilly and Owen. They each have a special animal that is their Matt! After a nice time at lunch remembering such a wonderful man we took the kids swimming. Hopefully they are super sleepy and will sleep in tomorrow, because Gary and I both have the day off! I close by saying how thankful I am for tired weekends. I love my family and friends with all my heart and am so thankful for all that God has given.

Love Jenny
