Loving My Weekends

I applied for a new position with Ent back in July and got the job. I started working my new job the first week in August. Now that I have been working in my new position for three weeks I tell you I could not be happier. I really love what I do, and being home by 5:00 every night and every weekend is priceless! 

This new position has given me the freedom of having a schedule and being home for my family and allowing me to serve at church more often. 

This has been a huge blessing in life and I could not be more thankful and happy. 

I have never ever seen anything wrong with being a working mom as long as I am balanced and in alignment with Gods plan. I feel so good right now and feel such a freedom in His workings I pray things stay this way forever! I am so thankful to know that where two or more are gathered in His name there He shall be. Our home is a dwelling place for The Lord, and the feeling of alignment is strong and balanced. I pray that the Lord continue to guide Gary and I along that narrow road, and help lead us in making godly decisions for our family. 

Sky Sox Baseball

I love sporting events! And grew up going to tons of games. My favorite was always Air Force Football and next was Sky Sox Baseball, followed by the Rockies, Broncos and Avalanche. 

I adore the fact that Lilly and Owen are at an age where they are starting to love and understand baseball and football. 

We had an amazing time tonight. Our kids are really special and so much fun to be around. We walked to the Sky Sox game and had fantastic weather. It was a great game, followed by the most amazing firework show since Disney, I mean Uncle Chris' fireworks :)! They did a whole show before the fireworks started! It was a great night. 

I am incredibly blessed to have these moments with Gary and the kids. I sure wish time would slow down and I could hold those babies forever. I am so thankful to our gracious God for all His blessings.  

Our Favorite Game

I swear we are a mess, but a fun mess. Lilly and I laughed so hard today when once again we moved the jeep on Gary and Owen. Watching them struggle to find us is priceless! Lilly and I laughed so hard we had tears running down our faces! Gary had to make a quick stop to pick up some ammo at Sportsman's and we politely declined to go in, all the while we were scheming as to where shall we hide today! One day Gary will learn!! 

And by the way I ran into Target the other day for some bread and yup they were gone! So I promise I get mine! 

Happy Birthday Owen!

I have such wonderful men in my life and I am so honored to add a special little man to that list! 

Owen is funny, sweet and his heart is so big. Owen loves and fears The Lord, there is no doubt that God has great plans for my sweet little man. It's an honor to be your mommy. Daddy and I are so proud of you sweet boy!

Smart Board

Lilly is utterly enthralled with school this year. She has a smart board in her class and she is fascinated with all it can do. She was so excited today because they used google earth with their social studies lesson. She told Gary and I that it was a giant iPad. She told us all about how it's a giant touch screen and they could move earth around and see different places like it was live. 

It is so exciting to see the amazing tools that our kids are growing up with. I am so thankful that we have such wonderful teachers that are teaching with innovative products that are keeping up with the technologies of today's world. I love to see my kids excited about learning! 

My first day!

So today was my first day in my new position! I think I am going to really like it. I especially liked having dinner done, homework done, lunches packed and cloths picked out for the next day all done by 7:15! 

I am getting ready to have devotions with the kids and bedtime. Yup totally worth it,  more time with my family is 100% worth it!

Good Man

Pookers is a great man! He fixes all the bikes and everything else for all the neighborhood kids. And he is super hot in his glasses! 

Well...

So after almost a year of being a brunet I am once again blond. My husband and children are thrilled. Me well I kind if like my hair brown. I have super curly frizzy corse hair and the darker it is the healthier it looks. We shall see how long this lasts!

After Gary and I dropped off the kids today we had a little date! It was really nice to be alone and talk. We had breakfast and then went shooting. Not exactly my idea of a date but ill take it. I was really embarrassed for Gary considering I out shot him.... Wink wink!
