Intentional Christmas

Gary and I have been very intentional this year more so than in years past about our faith. Jesus is our everything and as believers He is the center of our day. As a family we have studied the book of Luke this entire month. We have talked about how Mary had baby Jesus in a barn. Both Lilly and Owen talked about what the barn smelled like. We even journeyed outside one night to talk about how cold baby Jesus felt in the barn. We stood as a family looking at the stars in the sky trying to imagine ourselves as the wiseman on their journey to worship our King. This season of Life has so much meaning and historic value that we believe it is very sad to find a small spot in our season to read the Christmas story as a blurb and get back to santa, elves and presents. God is so big and mighty. He deserves our everything all our praise.
I am so proud of my babies and their hearts. I pray their walk be strong and intentional!
