Joy of The Lord

As I make breakfast this morning I have The Psalms playing the in the background. The words ARISE LORD are ringing in my home. I have so much going on in my little spec of dust life with work, school starting and unfortunate drama that I have lost some of my joy. I have not been a fun person to be around and the majority of my joy lost has been reflected toward my sweet family. I have always been tough, I believe in hard work and will not tolerate a messy home, half baked work and office drama. But lately I have been over the top and it has made our home unbalanced and sometimes not a fun place to be. I expect a lot of myself and in return I expect a lot from those around me. As I listen to the Psalms I'm reminded of establishing a throne in our home. God is with me always and I depend on His right hand to hold me up. I will not relent in faith and righteousness. The joy of the Lord is truly my strength. As I listen to His word the smell of coffee and breakfast food fill our home along with the giggles of two very sweet little people. This is my joy! God is Good, Holy and Mighty. A thousand times I have failed, yet His mercy will continue to remain. Two things are for certain I will continue to fail and He will continue to give grace and mercy. My trust and faith and praise will forever be grounded in my Jesus.
Establishing a throne in my home and workplace are of my utmost importance. Taking a step back from the world has become a priority. The smell of coffee and giggles, this is my joy!

I love how the sun shines in at just the right angle to create wonders on my ceiling, establishing His throne today.

I’m morning Spring Break... We had such a great time from movies to Denver and Salida. Thankful summer is right around the bend.
