My Kids
My kids are amazing people. They help whenever needed! Don’t get me wrong they have their moments but they are mostly amazing!
Freezing
The kids and I went to Garden of the Gods. It’s was so cold! We literally were there about an hour. We planned on being there for several hours to hike but we were frozen. We had a good laugh and enjoyed each other. We made it home to soup and hot cocoa!
More Baking
Oh my, I don’t even eat the garbage I bake and I feel like I’m gaining weight! I have a cleanse I’m going to do Tuesday through Friday next week. But for now and the next 24 hours I’m going to eat the shrimp, chicken and cheese! Praying my tummy can handle it! Lilly and Owen have baked and made a ton of fudge! All delivered to our neighbors. They are good hearted kids!

Awe
I’m so ready for Gary’s work week to be over! I’ll settle for some cuddling on the couch with him and my puppy.
Hiking With My Bestie
Enjoyed a quick hike and the last 60 degree day here for this year with my bestie Melissa! The best type of friend is the one who will pray and hike with you!
Long Winter Naps
My kids have found the joy of sleeping in and naps! I remember those days! They are quite the pair, my heart is full!

Star Wars
We went to see Star Wars! It was so good! We then went to dinner and looked at some of the Christmas Lights in town.
Zooed
We visit the zoo each year at Christmas. The lights are so pretty the way it’s decorated. My family loves to put me on that dang sky ride, I lived once again but am far away from my fear of heights. I love these people and doing life with them.
Christmas is Full of Music
Both Lilly and Owen are involved in music at school. I’m always surprised at how great the choir and band does. They are really good for a bunch of kids who don’t take private lessons. Owens choir sings great harmony and Lilly’s band did music from Harry Potter and Charlie Brown. We are some proud parents!

Traditions
I love adventure and exploring. I love to take off and do and experience new things. I’m not afraid to travel and hike and see the world and faces that roam it. However, at Christmas time the same old things never get boring to me. I love the love of a house that is over decorated with a cheesy fire in the fire place and stockings hung. I love to reminisce over the ornaments that family, friends and that we have collected on our adventures each year. I love the progression of how much better our gingerbread houses look each year and the silly hallmark and crazy Christmas movies we watch over and over. I love the frozen hot chocolate and cookies and fudge. I look forward to our special dinner out, the zoo, North Pole and gazing at Christmas Lights. I love this time of year reading our Advent book each night and praying, worshiping and thanking our Jesus for being born. I love these silly and over the top traditions.
My Bell Jar
She is the most beautiful kitty. I can hear her calling us her peasants, as she sits high on her throne.
Owen
Owen is pretty funny. All the sudden he has developed a great sense of humor. I want to remember all the funny things he says.
“Mom, can I walk to Kum and Go? I saw your Christmas present there.”
“I’m going to marry a brown haired girl who wants to live in a tiny house so we can drive a Lamborghini.”
“ Chik Fil A workers have to make more money because God likes them the most out of them and McDonalds.”
When asked about his day at school and what he learned.
“Well, I didn’t die and I learned about connect energy.”
“Mom, I’m trying to take a water break, why you got to take a picture.” I thought you said I smell! I’m only smelly because I’m kicking that kids butt one on one. I’ll be quite, his mom is probably embarrassed because I keep stuffing her kid.”
